and over the knee boots.
Who doesn't love an over the knee boot in the fall and winter? They are such a cute staple and suitable for almost any outfit.
Though I love a good over the knee boot, I've had some bad luck with a few over the years. My main gripe is the fact that I could never get them to stay over my knee. I would take a couple steps and immediately feel them sliding down my leg.
And, of course, it always depends on the size of your legs. My legs are on the leaner side and it's always been a struggle finding the right over the knee boots that are fashionable, practical and won't fall down every 2.1 seconds.
This year I decided to invest in a more expensive pair of over the knee boots that would hold up (no pun intended) it's end of the bargain and stay over my knee!
While surfing the internet for the best over the knee boots, I stumbled upon these gorgeous velvet, low heel boots from Nordstrom called Pointy Toe Over The Knee Boot from Steve Madden (which are now on sale!!!). Because I am very selective when it comes to boots, I read through all of the reviews before making the purchase, looking for insights to how well they stay on your legs. Most reviews mentioned how comfortable they are and that they are great for smaller legs and don't fall down! These boots retail for $129.95, which isn't terrible, but can be a bit pricy, especially in these times. But I found them to be a worthy investment - a good pair of boots is always a good investment in my book!
This weekend, I took my new boots out for a walk to see how they held up (all pun intended) and they past the test. I was out for about 4 hours and didn't have any issues with keeping them up. As you can see, I was able to kneel down and walk about with no issues. Im sure the top will stretch a bit over time, but it shouldn't present too much of an issue.
