It's pretty clear that fall is my favorite season of the year, and this time of year is the perfect time to pull out your beautiful blazers and style them up!

What Type Of Blazers Do You Need For Fall

Adding a blazer to your outfit can instantly elevate your look! Depending on the style and fit of your blazer, you can go from sporty to chic or casual to business casual in an instant.

If you are just starting with building your blazer collection, I suggest starting with these 3 styles:

2. Business Casual - professional, sophisticated, classy

3. Leather/faux leather - timeless, unique, clean

What Color Blazers Should You Buy

When it comes to colors, I think it's best to stay true to what makes you happy and what makes you feel the most confident. For me, I gravitate to neutral colors, so my blazers are always within that color scheme- black, nude, brown, grey and white.

I do absolutely recommend adding pops of color, though! I love a hot pink blazer or a bold yellow! A red blazer with the right outfit would also be stunning! Don't limit yourself! But remember that it is best to keep the number of colors you are wearing to a max of 3. That will make you look less distracting and more put together.

Where To Find The Best Blazers

Everyone and their mother is selling blazers, especially during the fall! If you are looking to buy timeless pieces that will last a while and not ruin/shrink/fall apart in the wash, it's important to purchase from brands you can count on.

One time, I bought 2 blazers from Rainbow (yes, Rainbow- sometimes you can find good pieces in there!) because I just loved the colors of them. One held up very well but the other one refuses to lay correctly at one of the folds. No matter how many times I steam in, the fold just will not lay right. In this case, I would have been better off purchasing a more expensive, but well made, blazer that I can rely on.

Excuse my while I stare at this blazer for another 30 minutes 🙂 This boyfriend blazer from Express comes in 3 different colors, including this delicious camel color! I love how tailored the cut is, and again, the color is just absolutely stunning!

Okay, this one might just be my absolute favorite! I saw it and my heart almost skipped a beat because of how stinking cute it is! It also has matching pants that you can purchase as well! *cries* I wouldn't exactly call it budget friendly (it retails for $138), but if you're able to splurge on something this month, consider this super cute and chic, black and white, plaid blazer.
